ISI-USB4 – ISI Loss Modeling Platform Set for USB4 RX and DisplayPort 2.0 Sink

The ISI-USB4 Loss Modeling Kit is a next-generation intersymbol interference (ISI) platform designed for USB4 receiver calibration and DisplayPort 2.0 Sink compliance testing. It enables controlled jitter creation at speeds up to 56 Gbps NRZ and 112 Gbps PAM-3 and PAM-4, making it ideal for early-stage design validation and EDA simulation.

Unlike lossy structures that include impedance or resonance artifacts, true ISI is introduced only through dielectric and skin effect losses. Group delay variation—an important performance factor above 25 Gbps—is minimized using optimized PCB layout techniques, controlled-weave laminate, and pristine connector transitions.
